SD collaborate with human rights defenders and networks by partnering with various human rights defenders, grassroots initiatives, and networks that share our vision. These collaborations aim to amplify our collective voice and enhance our impact by sharing resources and strategies, ultimately working towards justice and equality in Somalia and beyond. We provide capacity-building training for human rights defenders in Somalia by offering training programs for human rights defenders in Somalia, focusing on monitoring, documenting, and reporting human rights violations. Participants learn essential skills, including evidence gathering and legal advocacy, while also prioritizing their safety. This empowers them to be more effective in their advocacy efforts. SD conducts advocacy campaigns for human rights defenders in Somalia by running advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of the challenges faced by human rights defenders in Somalia.
