Somali Defenders held workshop training about Advocating for Rights
On 5 September 2024, Somali Defenders conducted a one-day workshop training on Advocating for Rights at Beder Hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia. The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including youth leaders, civil society representatives, and human rights advocates.
The workshop aimed to:

Raise awareness about fundamental human rights.

Equip participants with tools for peaceful and effective advocacy.

Strengthen community-level engagement in rights-based initiatives.
Interactive sessions focused on legal frameworks, community mobilization, and practical advocacy strategies. The training concluded with a call to action for participants to take a leading role in promoting and defending rights within their local communities.
